On Monday night, November 18th, the Grand Island Town Board proclaimed the period from November 25th - December 10 in honor of Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women. Sherry Miller was there to show that Rotary stands with them and everything this campaign stands for. “Oranging the Island” begins at Grand Island Town Hall. If you have seen the orange ribbons on trees around town hall these are in recognition of the fight to uncover and help those subject to violence.
