"All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads." For the 3rd time this club year, volunteers have given time to the non profit organization Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP). This statement is from SHP's website. This organization breaks down the steps to build a bed from shipping crates in easy to complete tasks. Volunteers bring bedding for the beds they will build and rotate stations learning as they go. Ten volunteers in 3.5 hours constructed several beds and each station has inventory waiting for the next step. The organization tells stories about real families who receive the beds and how grateful they are.
