During the month of October the Grand Island Rotary Club began preparations to help those in their community in need of assistance have a brighter holiday season. The club presented Huth Road Elementary School 5th grade teacher and the 5th grade classes with a matching check donation to support the students' Bottle and Can drive.  The classes collected the bottles and cans to raise funds to support the Neighbors Foundation, a local food pantry that the Grand Island Rotary Club started in 1972. Shown here is club treasurer Diane Garey (left) presenting a check to Sue Wolcott with some of her students.
